Now the tides have shifted back again with a new generation of exquisite all natural micro-ground powders. This time around, the chai powders are real – no stabilizers, no artificial stuff and no water and sugar. Tipus micro-ground chai is being hand made by the Patel family in northern Montana. The basis is a recipe that goes back 4 generations to the homeland in India.

Ingredients: organic black Assam tea, ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and a few other spices.

 

STEEPING ESSENTIALS

  • Teaspoon: 1 slightly heaping
  • Device: mug
  • Water: 5 oz -  195ºF / 95º c
  • stir and dissolve chai powder
  • Steam 8 oz milk to 180, pour into mug, stir.
  • Nuances: Spicy, aromatic, cinnamon
  • Storage: Sealed light proof jar/tin in cool cupboard. keep away from heat & light source.
  • Best Before: 3-6 Months depending on storage. Best used in the first 3 months after opening
